Job Title: Internal Sales Support Location: Birmingham Salary: £30,000 We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Support professional to join a busy and growing sales team based in Birmingham. This role is vital to the smooth running of the sales function, providing day-to-day support to the sales team while delivering excellent service to customers.If you're organised, personable, and enjoy working at the heart of a commercial operation, this is a great opportunity to develop your career in sales support. The RoleReporting into the Sales Support Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring sales activities run efficiently and customers receive a consistently high level of service. You'll work closely with the sales team, customers, and internal departments to support order processing, manage enquiries, and help drive sales performance. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the sales team</li><li>Answer incoming calls professionally and manage messages accurately</li><li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication</li><li>Raise, confirm, and process sales orders accurately within internal systems</li><li>Chase and follow up on direct deliveries to ensure timely dispatch</li><li>Monitor stock availability and manage stock orders to meet customer demand</li><li>Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues impacting sales or delivery</li><li>Provide quotations for products and services</li><li>Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally</li><li>Support account mapping and provide insights to assist sales planning</li><li>Make outbound calls to customers and handle inbound sales enquiries</li><li>Provide cover for sales colleagues during periods of absence</li><li>Attend customer meetings where required to support the sales process</li><li>Assist the sales team in achieving individual and team sales targets</li></ul> Skills, Knowledge &amp; Experience<ul><li>Strong understanding of customer service within a sales environment</li><li>Familiarity with sales processes, order processing, and stock management</li><li>Confident verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Comfortable using CRM systems, order processing software, and Microsoft Office</li><li>A team player with a collaborative, supportive approach</li><li>Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and positive attitude</li><li>Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities</li><li>Driven, motivated, and keen to continuously develop skills</li></ul> What's On Offer<ul><li>Salary of £30,000</li><li>Birmingham-based role</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>Opportunity to develop within a growing sales organisation</li></ul> If you're an organised Internal Sales Support professional who enjoys working closely with customers and sales teams, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today to be considered.
